I was born in Colorado Springs Colorado. At age of 3, my family moved to Imperial Nebraska. Where I was raised a water well drillers son, I worked as farming and ranching kid for my dad, and I also worked in a racquetball/health club in the winter for my parents. I graduated from Chase County High School in Imperial.
In 1992, I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science Degree with emphasis on Real Estate, Marketing and Finance. In 1994 we moved to Ogallala, Nebraska where I joined in my father’s business, wherein I sold: Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance. In 1996 I opened Haggard Realty, Inc. as the Real Estate Broker, and Owner.
In 2010 I accepted the position of Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Ogallala. In 2013 I moved into the position of Executive Director for Keith County Area Development, which is the county-wide Economic Development Corporation in Ogallala.
In 2016 my family moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, where I worked for the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce as the Vice President of Business Retention and Expansion.
I now serve as the Executive Director for the Burkburnett Development Corporation in Burkburnett, Texas. I have 5 children, 3 boys & 2 girls. Strengths Include: Real Estate, Organizational Structure, Contract Negotiations, Strategic Planning, Leadership, Positivity, Ideation, Adaptability.
